Sold By Compact HydroPumps are coupled to sealed canned type liquid cooled 2-pole asynchronous GRUNDFOS motors constructed of stainless steel. Motors require remote controllers, the DAYLIFF electronic controller, which provides full control against fluctuating power input as well as wireless low level control being recommended for smaller motors and the GRUNDFOS MP204, which provides additional protection from mechanical failure as well as advanced monitoring features for motors of 7.5kW and above. Note that due to the low starting torques of submersible motors Direct-on-Line starting is recommended for all motor sizes.
